Chapter 13
Brad didn’t make it in time to stop his brother. All he could do was rush over and gently help Adam to his feet, his heart aching.
“Tell big brother, where does it hurt?”
“Here… and here,” sniffled Adam, pointing to his butt and calf.
Brad rolled up his little brother’s pants to check… and his face darkened in an instant.
A huge bruise had already formed on Adam’s pale calf. It was deep purple, glaring and impossible to ignore.
His small fists clenched. His anger flared.
He’d originally wanted to keep Mac from causing trouble, but now? Not only would he not stop him… he’d be the first to back him up.
How dare someone hurt Adam like that?
Did they think he had no one protecting him?
“It’s okay now, Adam. I’ll blow on it for you, and it won’t hurt anymore.”
Adam nodded, still sniffling, “…Okay.”
Meanwhile, Mac had already chased Nancy out of the train station.
Just as she was about to get into her car, he darted out and blocked her path. Standing there, arms akimbo, fierce in that adorable way only a kid could pull off.
“You ugly old witch! Who gave you the guts to touch my little brother?!”
Ugly… what?
Nancy’s perfectly arched brows snapped together as she glared down at the little boy.
She wanted to slap him so badly.
But she couldn’t… not with Damien sitting in the car. She had to keep her act together in front of him, had to keep up her “I love kids” image.
So she gave Mac several warning glares and lowered her voice, hissing, “Who are you calling ugly?!”
“You!” Mac shot back without hesitation. “You’re ugly and old! You’re bad too! Ugly, old, bad… you’re hopeless!”

Before she could react, he whipped out a small pocket blade from his hoodie and began cirding the luxury hacker
Long, harsh scratches appeared one after another on the expensive paint job.
Nancy’s eyes bulged.
“Hey! You little gremlin, stop that right now! Do you even know whose car this is?! You wanna dien
She lunged to stop him, but Mac was too fast. He darted out of her reach, laughing as she chased him around the vehicle like she was the clown at a circus.
Round and round they went, her heels clicking furiously against the pavement, while Mac kept a perfect rhythm…. just like he was walking a monkey on a leash.
And sitting inside that car?
Damien.
He had come specifically to pick Nancy up.
Seeing the scene unfold, Damien ‘s brows furrowed deeply. He turned to Nico and said, “Go check it out.”
“Got it.”
Just as Nico reached for the door handle…
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
Four thunderous crashes split the air. A moment later, the luxury car jolted violently and sagged to one side with a
loud clunk!
“AHHH… !” Nancy’s scream pierced the sky like a siren.
Damien’s expression darkened instantly. He pushed open the door and got out of the car.
What greeted his eyes made his entire face freeze.
The four tires had completely detached from the car, rolling in different directions, still trailing smoke.
His expensive ride… now flat and lifeless… lay on the ground like a dead dog, utterly ruined.

And the culprit? A tiny boy, not even waist–high, wearing a face mask and standing defiantly in front of Nancy like some sort of miniature overlord.
“I just got to town today, so I’ll let you off easy this time,” the little menace declared, puffing up his chest. “But if you ever bully my little brother again, don’t blame me for what happens next! Ugly! Old! Evil! Hmph!”
Damien : “…”
Did… did he just call himself “Young Master” at that age?
Where did this kid get the guts?
And this was him not being serious?
Damien couldn’t even imagine what the kid would do if he was serious.
Whose hellspawn is this? Who raised such a chaotic, arrogant gremlin?
The little one had no idea that he’d just stirred up a hornet’s nest. After delivering his final warning, he turned around with his chin held high, ready to march off in style.
But just as he took a step, a hand clamped down on the back of his collar.
His feet left the ground instantly.
“Who the…?! Put me down right now!” Mac thrashed midair like a cat caught by the scruff, little legs kicking as he protested. “You dare grab Young Master like this?!”
Damien ‘s face was unreadable as he held the kid up and slowly turned him to face him. His tone was calm, but carried an unmistakable chill.
“Who gave you the right to call yourself Young Master‘?”
“I…” Mac’s voice trailed off as his eyes widened behind the mask.
Whoa… this uncle…
Why did he look so much like him and Brad?
Like, exactly the same. Just a super–sized version of them.
Wait a minute… could he be…
Could this be the deadbeat dad who helped make them but vanished into thin air afterward?
But… wasn’t he dead?

Chapter 13
Mommy said he died young from illness. So it must be a coincidence. Just some random guy who happened to look
similar.
Mac blinked his long lashes a few times, then puffed out his chest with dramatic flair and said arrogantly,
“Alright, since you look kinda like my daddy, I’ll show you some mercy. Put me down before I stop being nice.”
He even let out a ridiculous “Woah!” and made a ghost face at Damien.
Yeah, that’s right. Be afraid.
Damien ‘s jaw tightened. His aura grew colder.
This kid was all talk and no fear.
If it weren’t for the way his eyes… those bright, familiar eyes… looked exactly like his son’s…
Damien would’ve had him reported and handed over to the police by now.
“You do realize that what you just did? It’s a criminal offense.”
“It was that ugly, old, evil lady who started it!”
Nancy, who had been quietly trying to escape attention, suddenly froze in place: “…”
“Who’s old? Who’s ugly? Who’s evil?! AAAAHHH…!”
Damien ‘s voice was low and cold. “No matter the reason, what you did was wrong.”
Mac frowned, arms crossed like a mini boss. “You’re not my daddy. Who do you think you are, telling me what to
do? Who even are you?”
Damien ‘s expression darkened. “Where are your parents?”
He didn’t usually stoop to argue with kids… but this time, it was different.
That car was brand–new. Fifty million dollars, just picked up today. And now? Scrap metal. He at least deserved an explanation.
Besides…
Those four tires that were still smoking… they hadn’t come off by accident. From the look of it, they’d been blown clean off with something precise… like miniature explosives.
No kid should be capable of that. Unless… someone was using this child to target him.
He had to get to the bottom of this.

Chapter 13
As soon as he heard the words “your parents,” Mac panicked a little.
Like all mischievous kids, he wasn’t afraid of anything… except that one terrifying phrase: “I’m calling your
parents.”
Even the King of Hell wouldn’t scare him, but his mommy? Oh yeah. That was a different story.
Mommy never hit people, Mac wasn’t afraid of getting hit. He was afraid of disappointing her, of seeing her hurt.
The little devil shrank slightly, puffing his cheeks and muttering, “You wanna talk to someone, go find my daddy. My mommy’s busy, doesn’t have time for the likes of you.”
Damien narrowed his eyes. That worked for him. He didn’t particularly enjoy dealing with women anyway.
“Fine. Where’s your father?”
“My daddy? Oh, you’ll find him… in the eighteenth level of hell. Go on, you better hurry.”
Damien :“…”
Nancy seized the moment, her tone sharp like a dagger.
“This kid is beyond wild! Ah Damien, did you hear that? He just cursed you to hell! Look at what he’s wearing… it’s obvious he’s from some backwater family. Filthy little brat from a filthy little place… raised without a shred of
manners!”
Mac scoffed, “No manners? You’re one to talk. You’re old enough to be collecting retirement, and yet you bully a five–year–old. What, your mom never taught you how to be a decent human being?”
“You little…! I’m only twenty–eight!” Nancy screeched, face flushing with rage.
“Oh? Really? Could’ve fooled me. I thought you were eighty–eight.”
“You…!”
“Zip it. If you say one more word, I’m gonna do your parents a favor and teach you a lesson myself.”
Just as the tension peaked, a ringtone chimed from Mac’s smartwatch.
It was from the one person he was actually afraid of.
His precious Mommy was calling.
It must’ve been because his mommy came out of the restroom and didn’t see him… she was probably getting
worried.
Mac couldn’t bear the thought of his precious mommy being anxious, so he looked up at Damienand grinned

cheekily.
“Listen up, buddy, I’ve got places to be. No time to keep playing with you. Bye–bye!”
With that, the little rascal gave a quick hop, threw his arm up dramatically… and whoosh… slipped right out of his jacket like a wriggling eel, pulling off the oldest trick in the book.
“Keep the jacket! You’re welcome!” he hollered as he bolted into the crowd, vanishing in the blink of an eye.
Damien stared at the empty coat in his hands, his face darkening even further.
“Find out who that kid is,” he ordered coldly. “Track down his parents and bring them here. Also… have someone analyze how those four tires blew off.”
“Got it!” Nico barked, immediately rallying the bodyguards and charging back into the train station.
Damien turned to look at Nancy, his expression growing increasingly annoyed.
“Why did he say you bullied his brother?”
Nancy instantly shifted into a more delicate expression, blinking innocently. “Me? Bully a child? Come on, Damien, you know I’d never. His little brother probably saw I looked like I had money and tried to stage a scene… total scam. You can ask my agent if you don’t believe me.”
She sniffed, her tone getting sharper. “That kid lies like a pro. No doubt his parents are the same… probably lowlifes from some backwoods dump. Filthy place, filthy people. The kid’s a mess, so the parents can’t be much better either.”
She folded her arms, eyes gleaming with disdain. “If you ask me, don’t even bother talking to his family. Just toss the whole lot of them in jail. Life sentence. That’ll teach them not to mess with someone like you!”
Damien gave her a cold glance, his face hard as stone.
His silence said it all: he wasn’t impressed.
