“I missed you baby“, he said. Truth is, I missed him too. He squeezed my waist tighter.
“Did you make dinner for me too“?, he asked,
“If you want“, I replied stirring the sauce.
“It was a business meeting, she’s an investor“, he said, and I knew he was taking about the woman from earlier. He hasn’t tripped out yet. I started noticing it.
When he was speaking to me softly and loving he was still Dorian Sterling. When he was acting insane, he was Asher at those times. Or was it when I addressed him by his name. I was going to test it. I turned the stove off.

His hands moved from my waist to my neck. Spinning me around to face him. I looked at him.
“Trying to figure me out Little bunny“? he asked leaning in and biting my lips. I removed his hands, and he didn’t stop me.
“Go shower Dorian and come eat“, I said turning around.

I took my dinner and plated his. When he came back, he was wearing sweatpants and a T–shirt. I put his plate in front of him. He didn’t say anything. We sat quietly and ate. But I could feel his eyes on me. After dinner I did the dishes. He walked into the kitchen picking me up and walking into the living room. He sat down on the couch and pulled me over him. He squeezed my neck tighter. “That reminds me. You need to be punished. You made Darla give me back that money and I’ll tan your ass for that“, he said

“Is that why you were looking for them today“?, he asked

“No. You won’t ever step a foot into that house. They make Emelda look like a fucking Angel. You’re forbidden from having anything to do with them. I mean it bunny“, he said
