Liam stood still in shock as if he had been struck by lightning.
The color on the face faded away in an instant.
“Impossible! I don’t believe it!”
Hannah pulled up the news from that day to show Liam.
After reading it, he couldn’t stop trembling all over.

You only called today, Liam. What exactly are you pretending to be?”
The phone was hung up.
Liam’s heart ached, for the first time in his life, he felt despair.
He stepped on the gas pedal, ran through countless red lights, when his phone on the passenger seat started vibrating. He glanced at the name on the screen, but ignored it and continued driving towards the airport.
After hanging up the phone, the woman’s fair arm tidied up the blanket for the person on the bed.
“The milk was set aside, I knew you had already woken up.”
Jessie didn’t say a word, she just kept her eyes closed.
“I had advised you before, Liam’s selfish and dark personality, cannot be saved just because you want to save it, as expected–”
“He didn’t know about that yet!”
Jennifer sighed softly as she saw her daughter, Jessie, with her head covered by the blanket. She prepared to walk out, being careful not to make any noise.
Jessie, however, suddenly spoke up.
“He would know.”
