SOPHIA’S POV
I’m flooded with a mix of disbelief, frustration, and resentment. How could this situation have unfolded? First, Adam displaces me from the guest room to accommodate Aria, a move that already stung my pride.
Then, he orchestrates the removal of Eva and Elodie, effectively clearing the way for Aria to take center stage in our lives.
Adam has only informed me that after what happened to Grandpa because of me, I should move out of his residence as soon as possible. That wrinkly had to lose his memory just when I had revealed crucial information about Aria and Adam’s divorce! Only this part got erased from his shit memory.
Adam has decided to bring this scum in his house to take care of him. But what I don’t understand is why Eva and Elodie have been moved out as well. Mother and daughter are unreachable and the suspense is killing me.
PING!!!
“Miss… You won’t believe this! Aria is back and she’s pregnant with Adam Sir’s child.”
What the heck?! It’s a text from the maid I have bribed to spy on the Miller’s villa. I needed to know every single move ever since Eva, Elodie and I have been moved out of there.
I’m seething with rage, a fiery storm brewing within me, threatening to consume everything in its path. The overwhelming fury pulses through my veins, urging me to lash out and destroy anything within reach.
My mind races with a tumult of emotions as I struggle with the shocking revelation. The maid delivers a damning report, each word driving another spike of anger into my heart. But the most unsettling detail of all is Aria’s unexpected pregnancy.
How could she be pregnant? It’s a bewildering twist that only adds fuel to the fire of my frustration and resentment. So this is the reason for kicking me out of the house!
I’m overwhelmed by a sense of frustration and defeat, a recurring pattern of thwarted ambitions weighing heavily on my shoulders. Despite my best efforts to integrate myself into this family and ensnare Adam’s affections, I’ve been met with relentless setbacks at every turn. The memory of my initial scheme to win Adam’s heart stirs up a potent mix of bitterness and resentment. My carefully laid plans crumbled as Aria unwittingly took center stage, her unexpected involvement with Adam resulting in their marriage. It’s a bitter pill to swallow, a painful reminder of my inability to manipulate events to my advantage.
Secondly, when I had moved to France, I met someone, and I thought it was just a one–night stand and nothing could possibly go wrong. To my shock, I got pregnant, but I couldn’t find the guy anywhere. How could I let my child be fatherless?
Then a great plan struck me. I decided to come back here to get Adam Miller to be the father of my child. I knew that when it would come to me, he would always choose me over anything else. He has always loved me and the only guy I want to be the father of my child has always been Adam. Why should he not be? We’ve been together for as long as I could remember. Moreover, my child will get a good life at the Miller’s residence and then our life will be set.
That night when I landed, I tried to reignite the old flame between Adam and me, but I found him hesitant. It seemed like he was overly conscious about his marriage and loyalty to Aria. Every time I tried to make a move, he kept his distance.
To speed things up, I called him to the hotel restaurant, where I outlined everything. There, I drugged Adam, then I had the bribed guys take him to the hotel room. This was where he lay naked in bed with me.

I couldn’t get him to have sex with me because he was completely unconscious. But that didn’t matter, as long as when he would get up he would see us in this state and think that he really impregnated me.
Indeed, when he woke up, I heard him. He was muttering a lot.
“Aria! No! What will I do if she gets to know about this? God! What have I done.”
He was horrified and kept on mumbling that bitch’s name, pretended to sleep at that time and he didn’t even touch me or try to wake me up. He just ran off from the room.
Still, when I broke the news to Adam and thought that since he always wanted kids, he would immediately divorce and marry me right away, things didn’t fall into place as I had hoped. Even Adam’s family doctor had to mess everything up last time. He had to emphasize the fact that I was only three months pregnant. Adam grew quite suspicious, asking the doctor to clarify.
Although at that time, something came up and Adam couldn’t interrogate further, even when I went back to the doctor to bribe him, he refused the money. Instead, he told me that he would remain silent on the matter.
How can I trust him?
Anyway, there are more reasons I am mad now. Adam made it clear to me that he is ready to co–parent with me, but not to marry me. Now I understand why he has refrained from marrying me. Aria is the main reason!
This bitch has managed to come back into his life stronger than before. Now she has all the reasons to be Adam Miller’s wife. She is Nick Jackson’s stepsister, a billionaire now, and on top of that, carrying Adam’s child. All these years we all thought she was barren, but now?
The presence of the child she’s carrying poses a direct threat to mine, and I must devise a plan promptly, or else I risk losing my position and significance in Adam’s life. Even worse, my own child will be deprived of a father.
