He looked at his stepmother and fiancé. A while later I heard footsteps, I saw Darla, Miles and Ivy. Ivy looked scared. The minute Miles and Darla saw me they rushed over to me and helped me up. Dorian walked over to Ivy and slapped her. Emelda looked scared.
“You said I was sleeping with her. Last night you made that stupid accusation. But I guess you truly hate the girl because you came to them. Now why did you lie“? Dorian Asked Ivy.
“I… I…didn’t. We…well… she told me so you two were together“, Ivy said pointing at me and Dorian slapped her again.
“Because of you and innocent person was beaten and your lie is causing complications for me so unless you tell the truth, you will end up like her or worse I can do this all day“, he
said looking at her.
“Do I have anything to do with her“? he asked her.
“No” Ivy said
“So why did you lie using my name“? Dorian asked her.
“Because I knew Your family would hurt her“, Ivy said. This girl really hated me. Dorian looked at Darla.
“Darla, take her and leave. Ms. Raines if anyone from the Sterling family approaches you or so much as says a word to you let me know“, He said looking at me. And I just nodded.
They hurriedly helped me into the car, and we left. I began crying. Darla held me as I

“This. This is what I wanted to avoid happening to you. You’ll be okay now.“. She sat patting my back. They took me to a house and helped me in.

After a while she left me alone and I just laid there crying. I don’t know how long I was alone for. A little while later Miles came in. He brought my handbag and car keys.
“Your car is outside. Why don’t you have something to eat and take this pain medicine. I’m sorry sweetie” he said placing the tray of food and my belongings on the bed.
“Thank you, Miles. You really are a good friend“.
“It’s okay honey why don’t you eat and get some rest. I need to head to work. My number is in your phone call me or Darla if you need us“, He said

After he left, I laid there contemplating what I was going to do. I pulled my phone out and checked it. I had over thirty Missed calls from Asher. I’m sure he already knew what happened. I called back and the phone was answered immediately.
ASHER: Where are you baby girl?
He sounded panicked.
SKYLAR: I’m at Miles’s house.
ASHER: I know what happened Samuel didn’t see them in time to stop them. I’m sorry Little Bunny.
SKYLAR: Please let me go
ASHER: I can’t do that. Don’t ask me that again. Samuel will pick you up in ten minutes. Come to me, I’ll take care of you.
SKYLAR: No.
I ended the call and turned the phone off. I ate the sandwich and drank the medicine. I
guess I fell asleep because when I woke up. Something felt different. I ran my hands over
my face, and I realized I was blindfolded.
