Chapter 12
It turned out that years ago, my older sister had run away pregnant.
She left a letter filled with anguish, clearly mentally unstable,
But she didn’t mention the most crucial detail–my parents didn’t know who had fathered her child.
They only knew he likely taught at Westridge High.
So years later, my parents carefully selected an orphan to serve as bait.
They believed the man would strike again.
Indeed, the predator’s claws reached for my little sister too.
But my little sister’s last words left my parents with unbearable guilt, forcing them to end their lives in
“I had been wondering for a while–your little sister and Lily looked too similar.”
agony.
“To recapture that youthful feeling, I used the same approach with your older sister, bringing her to my home.”
“Unfortunately, after just one time, she jumped to her death.”
William clicked his tongue, seeming both regretful and unsatisfied.
My mind was unnaturally calm, as if he were discussing people completely unrelated to me.
“You realized something was wrong, so you hid for ten years. Why expose yourself now by visiting my little sister’s grave?”
William’s tone remained casual as he sighed.
“Ah, I knew it, it’s a trap.”
“But I was recently diagnosed with cancer. I don’t have much time left, so I’m not afraid of dying anymore.”
“I just wanted to see Lily one last time before I died. It was worth it.”
“By the way, what did Lily write in that note before she jumped?”
William’s voice held genuine curiosity–likely another reason he had come.
Disgust surged through my chest. I wanted to kill this man with my bare hands.
But I restrained myself, standing to meet his gaze directly.
“Since you’re so curious, I’ll tell you.”
Chapter 12
“My little sister’s last words were simple.”
“She said she discovered a cruel truth–that person who raped her was her biological father.”
Upon hearing these words, William’s pupils contracted, his face turning pale like a dead person.
His voice trembled: “Impossible, impossible! How could this be such a coincidence? You’re lying to me, aren’t you?!”
By the end, William was already in tears.
Even though he was scum, he couldn’t accept this fact, repeatedly shaking his head in denial, attempting to change reality.
I looked down at him with disgust in my eyes. I grabbed his collar forcefully, ignoring his struggles, and roared in his ear: “You raped your own biological daughter! You beast!”
