She swung the silver wolf indiscriminately at my head.
I howled in pain as my scalp and flesh clung to the silver wolf.
If Alpha Silveroak saw this, Vanessa would be dead.
But if she continued her rampage, I feared I’d die before her!
In pain and fury, I desperately sought a way out. Just then, the Moon Chamber doors were
kicked open. The steward returned with the guards.
Seeing the chaos in the Moon Chamber, the steward nearly fell to his knees.
“Stop this immediately! You dare attack Lady Autumn? Do you have a death wish?”
Intimidated by the steward’s demeanor, Vanessa’s hand trembled, and the silver wolf fell to
the ground.
The steward’s eyes narrowed in horror. Forgetting all decorum, he lunged forward to catch
it with his body, finally breathing a sigh of relief.
“You fools! Daring to assault Lady Autumn–I’m telling the Alpha immediately. You’ll all pay
for this!”
The hands restraining me instantly released, and I collapsed to the floor, completely drained. The steward, terrified, rushed to support me.
“Lady Autumn, you absolutely cannot be harmed! My life, our pack’s life, is tied to yours!”
At his words, Vanessa’s eyes lit up.
The steward’s body tensed, and he began to curse, but his tone changed upon recognizing
Vanessa.
“Miss Vanessa? What’s going on here?”
Vanessa rolled her eyes, completely unconcerned.

“This human whore had the audacity to seduce Ethan and claims to be some Moon Blessed.”
“Jason, tell us–is she really the Moon Blessed?”
Jason’s supporting hand loosened slightly, his gaze shifting uncertainly between Vanessa
and me.
I tugged at Jason’s sleeve, urging him to notify alpha Alexander quickly. However, in the next moment, Jason completely let go of me.
“Autumn is just the daughter of a Silveroak Pack servant.”
My heart trembled slightly.
He wasn’t wrong–my mother had indeed been a pack servant.
But I was genuinely a once–in–a–century Moon Blessed, with my fate tied to the Silveroak
Pack!
Emboldened by his words, Vanessa stood taller, as did her frineds who had just moments ago been intimidated.
“I wondered how you wormed your way in. So you’re just the pity human daughter of an
old maid.”
“You must have tricked the Old Alpha somehow to gain special access to the Moon
Chamber.”
“Instead of cleaning like you should, you’re pretending to be important. Autumn, you’re
finished!”
They descended on me in a frenzy, unleashing the fear they’d felt earlier.
Not satisfied with beating me bloody, they picked up broken ceramic shards and aimed for
my eyes.
“Always using those bewitching eyes to seduce men. I’ll do everyone a favor and gouge
them out.”
Terrified, I twisted my head desperately to avoid the fatal blow.

The shard sliced down my cheek to my chin, exposing raw red flesh. The pain nearly made
me black out.
Seeing I’d dodged her attack, Vanessa grew angrier. She slapped my wound and kicked me repeatedly.
After this, her gaze fell on the burning incense at the altar. She jumped up and grabbed a
handful.
“This human slut seduces men daily and must be riddled with disease.”
“Since we’ve vented our anger, let’s help her. Take off her pants–I’ll ‘cure‘ her sickness!”
