I bit my lip hard to stay conscious, desperately crawling forward, but these lunatics grabbed my ankles.
Amid jeers, someone pressed my head down and tore my clothes.
Vanessa moved quickly, pressing a bundle of burning incense toward my private parts.
My entire body arched in agony, my screams seemingly endless.
Seeing my suffering only excited Vanessa more. She ordered her frineds to spread my legs, intending to push the burning incense inside me.
“Autumn, your slutty disease needs this treatment. Let’s see if you dare seduce men again!”
Ang and tears, my body unable to endure the torture, writhing
My face was covered in blood
between life and death.
Yet these people ed to cheer.
“She’s smoking now. Let’s see if she dares again.”
“So disgusting, it’s all burned. If I were Autumn, I’d be begging for forgiveness.”
“She only has herself to blame for offending Vanessa. With future Alpha Ethan protecting
Vanessa, no one would dare intervene even if they killed this little human.”
Hearing their flattery, Vanessa grew more smug, kicking my barely human form.
“Autumn, hear that? This is what happens when you cross me!”
After saying this, she picked up another ceramic shard.
“To ensure you remember this lesson, I’ll carve ‘whore‘ on your face. When you end up on the streets, at least you’ll have a profession.”
As Vanessa leaned down with a savage grin, I lunged upward and bit her ear hard.

Vanessa howled in pain, pummeling me wildly. Just as her shard pressed against my throat, Ethan’s horrified exclamation came from the doorway.
“Vanessa! This is Lady Autumn’s sacred space. Who let you in here?”
Vanessa dropped the shard in shock, her eyes filled with panic.
But only for a moment. Soon she was smiling coyly, fixing her hair and rising gracefully.
“I told you to wait for me, why you were so eager to came looking.”
As she spoke, she leaned against Ethan’s chest, her eyes full of affection.
“I know you wanted to mate with me and let me be your future Luna early, but didn’t you say we needed the pack’s Moon Blessed to speak for us before Alpha Alexander?”
“Ethan, have you arranged things with the Moon Blessed?”
Vanessa tilted her head, waiting for Ethan’s answer, but- received his slap instead.
Ethan hadn’t heard a word Vanessa said. His eyes were fixed on me, his entire body shaking uncontrollably.
“How DARE you harm Autumn!”
“Someone call a doctor NOW!”
His voice carried the thick notes of impending tears from extreme anxiety.
Vanessa stood stunned.
“Why do you care so much about a servant’s human daughter? Has this slut seduced you?”
“My pack background, my looks–which part of me isn’t better than her? Ethan, what does
this mean?”
Ethan gritted his teeth in fury.
“You know nothing! Autumn’s fate is tied to our pack’s! Who gave you the audacity to touch
her?!”

Vanessa looked at me with confused suspicion, then back at Ethan.
“Stop joking. How could a servant’s human daughter be tied to your pack’s fate?”
“You defend her so much–is there really something between you two?”
Vanessa’s eyes filled with tears, her face full of hurt.
Ethan was nearly insane with rage. He removed his coat and wrapped me tightly in it.
“The Moon Blessed I told you about IS Autumn. The Moon Chamber is built for her!”
“You’ve injured Autumn like this–our entire pack is doomed!!!”
