ADAM’S POV
Here I am again, stuck in the midst of this endless drama. While my Aria isn’t one for theatrics, Sophia is another story altogether.
“Adam! Come home quick. Something happened.”
When I received Sophia’s text, I didn’t stop to think or ask why she was there. My mind immediately jumped to Aria and Grandpa, and I rushed home without a second thought.
Once I arrived, I was appalled to see Aria and Sophia in a scuffle. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Sophia’s presence was infuriating, especially since she had been repeatedly warned to stay away. She’s the main cause of all this trouble. Sophia thought that I rushed home because of her text, believing I came for her. In reality, my concern was for Aria, fearing Sophia might hurt her.
As we were at the hospital, I watched Sophia. At first, I found it strange how she didn’t complain of any abdominal pain, yet the doctor announced she had a miscarriage. Even in the car, she didn’t seem to be in any distress. Instead, she kept asking Aria if her baby was alright.
Aria stared at me with horror, guilt evident on her face. In the past, I would have lashed out at her and placed all the blame on her, and I’m sure she expected the same scene to unfold. But what she doesn’t know is that I have learned my lessons.
Knowing Aria’s kind heart, if she had wanted to harm Sophia’s baby, she wouldn’t have divorced me. She would have found a way to harm Sophia’s baby from the beginning, instead of leaving the house and making room for Sophia and her baby in my life.
However, since I didn’t have any concrete proof of Aria’s innocence yet, I decided to play along to make Sophia let her guard down. My mind was racing with conflicting emotions, but I knew I had to stay composed. I didn’t want to rush to conclusions and risk making a mistake.
In the meantime, I wanted Aria to do her best to prove Sophia guilty. I believed in her intelligence and determination. Aria had a sharp mind and a resilient spirit, qualities that had always impressed me. I was confident that she would uncover the truth soon, and this ordeal would finally be put to rest.
The stakes were higher now than ever before. I had to trust Aria and give her the space and support she needed. Our lives had been entangled in so much chaos, but I believed that together, we could navigate through this and emerge stronger. This time, I would be by her side, ready to stand with her against any false accusations and fight for the truth.
“You know Adam, how she kept pushing me? But still I was worried about her baby. Look what she did!”
Those words echoing in my mind make me furious at Sophia, but I have to hide my feelings. When Aria suggests that we should check the CCTV footage, it reassures me of her innocence. It demonstrates her willingness to clear her name and face the truth head–on.
Yet, when Sophia maintains her calm demeanor, I am taken aback. Her lack of fear in the face of such a suggestion is unsettling. What kind of game is she playing? My anger towards Sophia simmers beneath the surface. Her audacity to come into my house and cause this chaos infuriates me. But I need to stay compos > strategize.
I have to play along, to maintain a façade of neutrality while internally, I seethe with frustration and determination. We need to catch Sophia in her lies, but I must be careful. The truth will come out, and when it does, I will ensure that Sophia pays for every deceit and every moment of pain she’s caused Aria. I am also to be blamed because, Aria is always a victim of the plots of those females in my life.

Sophia challenging Aria with such confidence, get me a bit worked up. Nonetheless, when I open the AlfredCamera APP, the footage after Aria is having her dinner alone, getting up and then heading towards the kitchen is cut off.
That’s rather weird.
“How is the camera off after this sequence? The camera is always on.”
I am puzzled.
“Is it hard for you to understand, Adam? Of course, Aria has turned it off before the attack.”
“But how would I turn it off? I didn’t even know you would barge in, did I?
