Chapter 57

As I was about to leave, I realized I wasn’t alone. The new student was still here. I didn’t say anything. I stood up and grabbed my stuff and left. As I was heading out, he walked past me. When I got my car he was standing beside his car. He looked at me then got into his car. What the hell was his problem.

When I got to work that evening, I spoke with miles. He said Darla would be back soon. When I waled into the private Dining room, I stopped. The same guy was there with a few other guys.

“Good evening, what can I get for you“? I asked looking at them..

They all rattled off their orders. I was waiting for him to say what he wanted.

“We have classes together right“? he said looking at me.

“Really? I wouldn’t know” I said looking at him.

He had black hair and brown eyes.

“Really, I was sitting next to you. My car was parked next to yours” he said sitting back and looking at me. I let out a sigh.

“Look. I go to school to study not to know who I’m sitting next to or know who my classmates are, this isn’t high school. Now are you going to order or not“, I said looking at him.

“I’ll have the chicken Parm” he said.

All week this guy keeps showing up at the club. Saturday night Miles Daphne and I along with the others were at the club drinking. We ended up going to the beach at two that morning. We made a fire, and we sat there drinking and talking. While we were there, we saw four cars pulling up.

I saw the guys walking down the beach towards us. They came over to us.

“Mind if we join you guys“, one of the guys said. I was about to say no when Maya answered.

“Sure of course” she said smiling and I looked at miles. I could see he didn’t like it. That’s when I saw the same guy walking towards us. I moved closer to Miles.

“Miles, can you pretend to be my boyfriend“?

“Sure, but why“? he asked

I explained the situation to him, and he just nodded.

“Zander you’re here. Everyone this is Zander. This is Maya and Daphne, I don’t know the names of the others” the guy said,

“oh, this is Miles, she is Sky, this is Archie and this is Candace” Maya said smiling.

“Hello Skylar” he said in such a creepy tone. I looked at Miles.

“Do you want to leave”

“No, I have to take them home but if you want I can take out and texted him.

A few minutes later my phone Vibrated. With a message. “30 Minute That meant he would be here, I sat listening to them talk.

“So, Sky, Zander said you two study together” the guy named Calvin think said and I looked at him.

“I’m sorry to disappoint you but I study alone, I don’t know anyone Hamed Zander” I said looking at him.

“Damn Zander, women go crazy for you and she doesn’t even know you” one of the guys said and they started laughing. They began talking amongst themselves. Miles and I talked to each other.

“Who the hell is that“? I heard one of the guys say, looking past me and Miles.

When I turned around, someone was walking towards us. From the right alone I knew it was him. I grabbed my handbag and my sandals and stood up.

“Miles let me know when you get home”

“I will baby girl. Go have fun“. Mile said

“Who’s he“? I heard Zander ask. I turned and looked at him but didn’t answer.

“That’s her man” Miles said smiling.

I walked the short distance over to him; the minute I was in arm’s length he grabbed me pulling me int him and kissing me. I knew they would be able to tell we were kissing but they wouldn’t be able to see who it was.
